Reading: God Calls Abram (Genesis 11:26~12:9, Genesis 15:1~17)
The Lord spoke to Abraham and told him to move from his homeland to a new land. God promised to make of him a great nation. Abraham trusted God, journeyed to Palestine, and God blessed him. God intended to use Abraham and his descendants to bless all the nations of the world. And God did, indeed, use the Hebrew people to accomplish His purposes.
